Sharon Gilshenan has full prescribing privileges. With over twenty five years of nursing experience most of spent in senior positions within the NHS, she has been specialising in aesthetics for several years and continues to be very passionate about providing an exemplary high standard of care.
As one of the first nurses in the country to obtain the qualification to prescribe, Sharon continues to be involved in teaching and is a mentor to nurses who wish to obtain this qualification. She also works as a consultant teaching aesthetics to doctors, nurses and dentists across the UK and Eire for the global company Merz Pharma UK where she has received high praise for her level of knowledge and teaching skills.
Sharon regularly attends by exclusive invitation masterclasses such as the Allergans Facial Aesthetic Masterclasses with world leaders in Aesthetic Medicine such as Dr Mauricio De Maio, Dr Koenraad De Boulle to name but a few. Professional development is intrinsic to her values and she is to undertake a Masters in Dermatology in October.
Sharon also has strong links with Julia Hunter MD, a Dermatologist from Los Angeles who is revolutionary in her approach to skin and aesthetics.
There is no charge for the initial consultation with Sharon as she believes an in-depth consultation to discuss appropriate treatment options is very important. No one is ever rushed or felt pressured to have a treatment.
